RAVELLO AMALFI COAST CHANTUS ANGELI 22 OTTOBRE

Every choir may exhibit freely their popular, ethnic, sacred and polyphonic music in an atmosphere of intense unity in music. This musical manifestation however is not intended as a competition but as a meeting of choirs with different type of music and from different territorial origin.

These festive moments will create possibilities for the musicians and all the participants to tighten friendly relationships based on a common passion for music and the joy to visit this beautiful region.

Program

The festival “Cantus Angeli” is an international encounter of choirs where they exhibit their choral and musical art in the magnificent land of the Magna Greece. Every group will enjoy the beauty of Amalfi, Ravello, Paestum, the riches of Salerno, Cilento and the valley of Diano.

Program
Welcome Concert
The encounter concert represents the first of the musical moments of the Festival. Every choir will present its own repertoire together with some other of participating choirs in a historical center of the Valley of Diano or in a prestigious place of the Amalfitan coast welcomed by a local choir.

The encounter concert wants to be a moment of brotherhood and friendship between people who share the same musical and artistic ideals.

“Voci nell’aria” – Open air concert
Open air concert will be carried out in a natural or artistic place of the charming Amalfitan coast. During a guided visit every choir may present their music in a public square or a characteristic angle capturing in this way the attention of the tourists or the passers-by.
“Gran Concerto dei Cori”

Friday evening in the beautiful theater of Salerno will be the climax of the Festival. All the choirs will be at the same time spectators and actors of an unforgettable evening. During this evening every group will give its own repertoire and all the choirs together will sing one or two works from the world repertoire in an atmosphere of friendship and unity.
“Gran Gala dei Cori”

The Festival “Cantus Angeli” will be concluded by a supper-show where all the participant groups will experience festive moments degustating the meditteranean kitchen in an atmosphere of friendship.
