Thursday, July 24 from 20.30 environmental organisations have organised an event at Conwinum Positano, Amalfi Coast, the wine bar under the Buca di Bacco, to raise awareness and protect the Vallone Porto, the beautiful valley wedged between narrow limestone cliffs behind Arienzo beach. A wild canyon that will be destroyed with cement dams and is challenged by the WWF Sorrento Peninsula, together with Environment League Legambiente, Italia Nostra, the local association Posidonia and Gea and a forum of 16 organizations that had organized a demonstration on the spot on February 10th last year. The evening with free admission will be hosted by RAIDue journalist and television presenter Barbara Di Palma, and will present a video projection of the Vallone Porto followed by dancing with the music of the popular group Spillenzia.
