IT was wedding bells, sun, love and joy in Italy recently to mark a very special day in the lives of Damien Murray and Leanne Kerr. 'We were married in Positano Town Hall on the Amalfi Coast of Italy, with a reception in Mamma Agata's in the neighbouring town of Ravello,' revealed Leanne. The reception was a champagne buffet on the garden followed by a four-course dinner on the terrace overlooking the whole coast! 'We spent a week in Positano with our parents Bobby and Stella Murray and Denise Kerr and my grandmother Veronica Kirkley, and were also joined for most of the week by various friends and family both from Ireland and Newcastle in England, where I'm from. Damien is originally from Laytown and we now live in Mornington,' Leanne added. The witnesses were Joanne Howell from Newcastle and Kevin Molloy from Drogheda, who also did the readings. Leanne organised the ceremony over the internet and after the whole thing the happy couple headed to the Maldives followed by a few days in London. - Hubert MURPHY
